“Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.” In that way, Albert Einstein describe rights and the desire for peace in this world. Bears support Human Rights dialogue. The 140 Buddy Bears, created by artists from all five continents, have now arrived in Berlin for the next stage of their world tour.
The United Buddy Bears teach us accept and respect the different points of view, other cultures and religions. It is a tour in the name of tolerance and solidarity. The special and endless way of art is in my opinion one of the best way to learn from and about other cultures. Learn to understand, learn to respect and learn how others live her life. Under the motto: “We have to get to know each other better, it makes us understand one another better, trust each other more, and live together more peacefully,”the bears travel the world since 2002. From Berlin and Rio to Hong-Kong, Australia, Japan, Israel, Egypt (and many more) back to Berlin.
